THE HAICHING PIRACY

(FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT)

HONG-KONG, DEC. 11

The passengers of the steamer Haiching, the object of the latest piracy, are now being released, and it is expected that the suspected pirates among them will not number more than six. A Chinese has died in hospital, making the total dead 12. The officers of the Haiching, who have received the congratulations of Vice-Admiral Sir Arthur Waistell and Major-General Sandilands, have been

invited to a luncheon by the Government.
